Status and organization of non-governmental organizations

Regulation of legal status and internal organization of non-governmental organizations - associations, institutions, foundations and funds

Political parties, associations, institutions, foundations have a special social status and are thus directly related to the constitutional rights and obligations. Common to all the forms is that they are non-profit, which means that the pursuit of profit is not (and should not be their primary objective).

Some forms are, of course, a bit more flexible than the other (e.g. private institutions), while some are considered to be financed mainly through fees (political parties, associations, unions), grants and other sources of income. The law allows such a legal entity to set up its own company, which operates on the principle of profit. The profit earned is then returned to the parent entity, which must spend it in accordance with its Statute, or other (non-profit objectives), such as implementation of charitable activities, various campaigns, organizing events, etc..
